Summer 2004 Teacher Workshops

Training is required for the MSL to visit your school.

This year, we are offering one workshop for new (to the MSL) teachers who wish to have the Mobile Science Lab come to their school. This will be held at SDSU in Brookings. A second session may be held (in Spearfish) if there is enough demand.

Schools are encouraged to send more than one science teacher, although a single teacher from a school can also apply. Teachers who did not attend a training last year but whose school had a MSL visit are also encouraged to apply.

Dates:

MSL I	New (to MSL) teachers session:	June 21 - 25 SDSU
MSL II	Veteran MSL teachers (who attended last year)	June 28 - July 2 SDSU
MSL I	Tentative additional overflow session:	July 26 - 30 BHSU

Additional Details:

• You will receive a stipend of $250 for attending the entire week.
• 2 hours of graduate credit are available.
