1. Workshop Schedule for Fall 2000
- Rationale for types of workshops
- Are any changes needed in the proposed schedule?
- What is the best way to distribute the information to the
teachers?
- How do teachers register for the workshops?
2. Teacher Inservice Hours
- The grant specifies that all K-8 teachers that teach science
receive 100 hours of inservice.
- How do we get everyone involved?
- What do we do with those teachers with 100 hours of
inservice?
- How can we make the Project Manager's school visits impact
teachers the most?
3. District Inservice Days
- BLAHST staff would like to provide training during inservice
days whenever possible.
4. Materials Coordinator Position
5. Inventory of kits in use in districts &endash; we need an
updated list:
- To determine which kit-based workshops to provide
- To streamline ordering of refurbishment supplies
6. South Dakota State Science Standards
