
In collaboration with the Center for Science Education at Education Development Center, Inc. (EDC), CAMSE is an EDC K-12 Science Curriculum Regional Dissemination Center. This Center provides school districts in and around South Dakota with information and support for the transition to NSF-approved classroom science curriculum materials.
![]() The EDC K-12 Science Curriculum Dissemination Center at CAMSE has been created to introduce school districts to exemplary NSF-supported curriculum materials as the first step in making the transition to adopting and using these materials. CAMSE and EDC have trained teams of representatives from school districts on selecting from the new science materials that are available, and helping them make first steps towards eventual use of the materials. CAMSE staff have expertise with classroom use of some of the NSF instructional materials and can share this expertise with districts.
