Science On The Move was a statewide project to provide students in South Dakota schools with high quality science lab experiences. Two large semi-trailers (Mobile Science Labs, or MSLs) were equipped with a broad range of equipment that students used in classrooms or in the trailers themselves.

Science On The Move provided unique experiences in science that would have been unavailable in rural South Dakota schools. The project was very popular with students and teachers.

Science On The Move was administered by the South Dakota Center for the Advancement of Math and Science Education (CAMSE). The project, initiated by a group of civic-minded individuals and funded initially by the South Dakota Governor's office, ended due to lack of funding.
